Terneuzen Powder Technologies (TPT) has industrial-scale
facilities for natural gas, water and electricity. Natural
gas is needed for generating steam (max. 3000 nm3/hr), operating the calciner
(max. 450 nm3/hr) or one of the flashdryers(max. 225 nm3/hr). This
plant is equipped with air compressors and air dryers.
There is a plant-air
network for transporting powders pneumatically from one bin or silo to another
and an instrument-air network which is needed for switching valves etc. High
capacity steam is present for heating, tracing or evaporator-applications. There
is a >2Mw power supply available with trafos, emergency generator and MCC buildings,
etc. Also a waste water treatment (WWT) system is present
where effluent water is treated before it is pumped to the municipal sewer. |
